Physiotherapy in Cambridge
Evidence-based assessment, hands-on treatment and personalised rehabilitation to help you recover from pain, injury and return to the activities you enjoy.
Light Blue Clinic provides private physiotherapy in Cambridge for musculoskeletal pain, sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation and problems affecting movement or activity. Appointments are available at our Girton and Goldie Boathouse clinics, and you can book directly without a GP referral.
Your physiotherapist will assess your symptoms, medical history, movement and physical capacity before explaining the findings and agreeing a personalised plan. Treatment may combine advice, hands-on care and progressive exercise rehabilitation to help you recover and return to the activities you enjoy.
What to Expect
01
Comprehensive Assessment
We take time to understand your symptoms, medical history, movement patterns and lifestyle before carrying out a detailed physical examination. This allows us to identify the underlying factors contributing to your pain rather than simply treating the symptoms.
02
Hands-On
Treatment
Where appropriate, your treatment may include joint mobilisation or manipulation, soft tissue therapy, sports massage, dry needling, instrument-assisted soft tissue techniques (IASTM), kinesiology taping or other manual therapy techniques to reduce pain, improve movement and support recovery.
03
Personalised
Rehabilitation
Exercise therapy forms the foundation of long-term recovery. Every rehabilitation programme is tailored to your needs and may include mobility, strength, balance, tendon loading, running-specific or sport-specific exercises using our VALD rehabilitation platform.
04
Education & Injury Prevention
Understanding your condition is an important part of recovery. We explain what is causing your symptoms, what to expect during rehabilitation and how to reduce the likelihood of future problems through appropriate exercise, training and lifestyle advice.
