Employees are offered a comprehensive wellbeing screening which entails; blood pressure check, full cholesterol testing, blood sugar check, musculoskeletal screening, urinalysis, body composition analysis, cardiovascular risk score, wellbeing and nutritional analysis. Following an hour-long assessment, an employee receives a full report with health recommendations.
The display screen equipment (DSE) assessment is aimed at employees working at their desks for longer than one hour a day. We have completed more than 1000 ergonomic assessments and are certified as DSE assessors as well as musculoskeletal (MSK) specialists, giving the employee the best advice on their workstation set up. According to research conducted by the Public Health England (2016), an MSK injury is the second biggest cause of days lost in work, costing the economy £7 billion a year!
Our experience of working with high performance athletes allows us to tailor specific treatment and rehabilitation protocols so an injured employee can be supported throughout their journey of recovery. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) recommends manual therapy and exercises as management of conditions, such as lower back pain, with or without sciatica.
